I come from Africa, and lived longest in beautiful Cape Town where the beaches are white and the sea is rough!

My family emigrated to New Zealand in 2005, and now live near a sandy cove where the waves lap gently onto the beach.

I teach a lively and lovely class of Year 5's from a variety of cultures and countries.

I have a real passion for teaching, and integrating Web 2.0 tools in the classroom. I have been a teacher both in NZ and in South Africa since 1987.

In the past two decades the face of teaching has changed, but the bottom line is still finding better ways to make learning happen!

Our schoolwide focus for this year is 'Change'.
